Jesus' said in Mathew
7:13-14"Enter ye in at the strait [closely defined] gate : for wide is the gate, and broad is
the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many [Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven
; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.... Many will say
to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy
name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then
will I profess unto them , I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity".]
there be which
go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few
there be that find it". In Acts 2:38 “then Peter said unto
them, ‘
Repent and be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the
promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off,
even
as many
as the Lord our God shall call’.”
The Lord Jesus said “Think not that I am come to destroy the law,
or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto
you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall
break one
of these least commandments, and
shall teach
men so, shall be called the
least
in the kingdom of heaven: but
whosoever shall do and teach them
, the
same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5
: 17-19.“ the scripture can not be broken” John
10:35.
"The LAW of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul..." Psalm 19:7. "The
mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children; to such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them." --Psalm 103:17,18
The SABBATH
is mentioned as
important when
"the abomination of desolation [ happens] pray that your flight be not in
